DESCRIPTION:Workshop Schedule – Register Below\n\nFriday\,June 20\,2025 8:30-7:30 PM\n\nChildbirth Class for Doulas\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 21\,2025  8:30 AM – 7:30 PM\n\nDONA Approved Birth Doula Workshop-Day 1\n\n\n\n\nSunday\,June 22\, 2025 8:30 AM -7:30 PM\n\nDONA Approved Birth Doula Workshop – Day 2\n\n\n\n  \nThe only prerequisite to attend the workshop is to read The Birth Partner(6th Edition) by Penny Simkin. If you have the time\, I suggest you do as many of the readings as possible\, so the materials will be somewhat familiar to you. This workshop will satisfy both the Childbirth Course & The Birth Doula Workshop requirements for DONA Certification. \nThe tuition for the three day workshop is $695.00 (Early bird discount of $50 if paid in full by April 20\,2025)and this includes the Birth Doula Manual and additional educational materials.  \nPlease bring lunch and snacks. \nA deposit of $100.00 is required to hold your space. This deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable. If you need a payment plan\, please call me to discuss. The balance of tuition is due by June 6\,2025. \nCancellation Policy: If you cancel after June 6\,2025 – tuition is non-refundable. If I have space in a future class\, I will credit the money received for an additional $150 administrative fee. \nIf you cancel prior to June 6\,2025\, tuition less the $100 deposit will be refunded. By registering below you acknowledge and understand the cancellation policy. \nThe workshop will be held in Charlotte\,NC. Unfortunately\, I cannot accommodate children-only breastfeeding babes in arms 0-3 months. There is a morning break\, lunch break and afternoon break each day if someone needs to bring a breastfeeding infant in. \nPhoto Policy-At times\, we will take photographs or videos of the workshop to share with other participants\, including on our group Facebook page\, or for promotional purposes.  Participants always have the option to opt out of video or photos and we will gladly honor that request\, just let me know! \nRoster: Your name\, address\, email address and phone number must be submitted to DONA International.  It is also shared within the group.If you would like to opt-out\, please let me know before the end of the workshop. \nAll participants much sign a COVID waiver.  For the hands-on portion of the workshop\, students may choose to observe without penalty or judgement. \nPlease do not make non-cancellable reservations to attend this workshop due to current changing health laws. \nBy registering below you acknowledge the terms and conditions of attending the workshop. \nIf you have any questions\, please call me or visit www.holisticbeginnings.org for more information.
