DESCRIPTION:Workshop Schedule – Register Below\n\nFriday\, December 5\, 2025 – 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM\n\nChildbirth Class for Doulas\n\n\nSaturday\, December 6\, 2025 – 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM\n\nDONA Approved Birth Doula Workshop – Day 1\n\n\nSunday\, December 7\, 2025 – 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM\n\nDONA Approved Birth Doula Workshop – Day 2\n\n\n\nThe only prerequisite to attend the workshop is to read The Birth Partner (6th Edition) by Penny Simkin. If you have the time\, I suggest you do as many of the readings as possible\, so the materials will be somewhat familiar to you. This workshop will satisfy both the Childbirth Course & the Birth Doula Workshop requirements for DONA Certification. \nThe tuition for the three-day workshop is $695.00 (Early bird discount of $50 if paid in full by October 10\, 2025)\, and this includes the Birth Doula Manual and additional educational materials. \nPlease bring lunch and snacks. \nA deposit of $200.00 is required to hold your space. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. \nTerms and Conditions: By registering\, you acknowledge that the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop\, any monies paid are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future workshop only if space is available\, and will incur a $150 administrative fee. \nThe balance of tuition is due by November 21\, 2025. \nThe workshop will be held in Charlotte\, North Carolina. Unfortunately\, I cannot accommodate children—only breastfeeding babes in arms (0–3 months) are allowed. There is a morning break\, lunch break\, and afternoon break each day if someone needs to bring a breastfeeding infant in. \nPhoto Policy: At times\, we will take photographs or videos of the workshop to share with other participants\, including on our group Facebook page\, or for promotional purposes. Participants always have the option to opt out of video or photos\, and we will gladly honor that request—just let me know! \nRoster: Your name\, address\, email address\, and phone number must be submitted to DONA International. It is also shared within the group. If you would like to opt out\, please let me know before the end of the workshop. \nAll participants must sign a COVID waiver.
